Harvey Nichols department store has never been afraid to stand by their convictions and run very individual, attention-grabbing ad campaigns. Some of their ads have even been some of my favourite ads ever, including the naughty teddies and the Wallace and Grommit series.
But they are dividing public opinion left, right and centre at the moment with their “(our) Sale (is so exciting, you’ll wet your pants)” ads by DDB UK. Like them or not, it’s certainly better to be talked about than ignored and everyone will certainly be talking about these for a long time.
